Neighbourhood Plan Update

Following the successful public consultation earlier this year, the Leckhampton and Warden Hill Neighbourhood Development Plan has been referred to the independent examiner for the next stage towards its adoption into planning policy.

The examiner has visited the local area and their initial response is awaited. Cheltenham Borough Council(CBC) and the Parish Council will consider any points raised by the examiner. Upon approval of the Neighbourhood Development Plan, a referendum with local residents will be undertaken by CBC. If more than 50% respondents vote in favour of the plan then it will be formerly adopted into CBC's planning policies.
