A417 Missing Link - Upcoming Road Closures

Leckhampton Hill - Overnight closures will be in place from the Air Balloon roundabout to Ullenwood Manor Road from Monday 22 September to Saturday 27 September (6am Sat) between 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. This is to enable works to be undertaken to complete the entrance to the country park, top soiling at this location and finish the top soiling around the ponds/footpaths, BT utilities, snagging.

Ullenwood Manor road is not an official diversion route so there will be signage taking road users up to Seven Springs roundabout from Cheltenham. The A436 and A417 will be open as normal.

Following on from this closure, the A417 will be closed overnight between the A46 Brockworth junction and the Air Balloon roundabout from 9:00 p.m. on Monday 29 September to 6:00 a.m. on Saturday 4 October. These closures are required whilst cyclical works, surveys, realigning traffic management, and utility installation works are carried out. Access between the A417, Leckhampton Hill, and the A436 via the Air Balloon Roundabout will remain open, including entry to Crickley Hill Country Park. There will be traffic signals on the Air Balloon roundabout so please be cautious and follow the directional signage. Access for emergency services will be fully maintained during the closures.
