The Mayor of Cheltenham, Councillor Sandra Holliday, visited the Brizen Young People's Centre on Up Hatherley Way last week to celebrate the success of its Summer Youth Activity Programme. The programme, which ran on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays during the Summer Holidays, provided free activities and lunch for young people aged between 12 and 16. Leckhampton with Warden Hill Parish Council were one of several local stakeholders providing funding for the programme.
