Motion calling for 20mph limits as a default for Leckhampton with Warden Hill Parish Council (LwWHPC) residential streets (with exceptions where appropriate)

At the Parish Council meeting of February 3rd the motion below was approved. (see document attached)

Leckhampton with Warden Hill Parish Council moves that

1 the relevant local authorities give serious consideration to the implementation of a default 20mph limit for residential streets throughout Leckhampton with Warden Hill Parish;

2. local media be informed of this motion;

3. a copy of this motion be sent to Alex Chalk MP asking for support.

4. the Parish Council welcomes that the concept of 20mph limits appears in the 'Connecting Cheltenham' strategy report and that GCC Highways has a working group examining this.
