Kier Highways newsletter - work on A46 starting on 31/01/22 and finishing on 25/02/22.
Please can we draw your attention to the upcoming Highways works on the A46 Shurdington Road as part of the construction of The High School Leckhampton. The initial works will comprise of vegetation clearance and tree surgery works over a period of four weeks starting on 31/01/22 and finishing on 25/02/22. In order to carry out these works a series of traffic management road works will be required (highlighted in BLUE on the map below). However, this will not restrict access to residents' driveways/properties and businesses. The works will start at the bus stop at the south of the map below and then work up the A46 through to the T-junction with Woodlands Road. To help minimise disruption to residents, the works will be carried out in five phases, each working on smaller sections of the road. Throughout the working day the team will have a traffic management marshal in place to assist residents with access and egress.
