Tony has lived in Cheltenham all his life, is married with two children and four grandchildren, all of whom live in Cheltenham. Prior to retirement, he spent his career working as a Manager in a Cheltenham-based Lloyd's Insurance Broker until 2008, and then as a senior Consultant at a local insurance concern.
His connections with Warden Hill date back over 40 years, his wife and family members having both lived and been educated in the area. Tony served as a Governor at Warden Hill Primary School for several years and was elected as Borough Councillor for Warden Hill in 2016. He currently serves on Cheltenham Borough Council's Planning Committee and has been the Borough Council's representative on the Brizen Trust since 2016, being the prime mover behind its Summer Youth Activity Programme.
Tony previously served on the Parish Council between 2018 and 2021, during which time he helped to form and lead the Warden Hill Community Working Group.
