Anne has been a member of Leckhampton with Warden Hill Parish Council for 31 years and served as a Borough Cllr for 18 years and is now an Hon Alderman. She is a member of the Communities committee and also the Brizen young People's Management committee.

She is a staunch believer of grass roots democracy and feel that being close to the people who live in the Parish and understanding their views is a great way to work with and for the local community.

Besides being a great supporter of Young Peoples issues Anne also has other responsibilities on the Parish Council for Warden Hill for Green and Open Space/flowers, Playgrounds, local businesses and shops, support for Older People and Community needs.
